Enjoy this quick and easy cocktail anytime of year. It's so beautiful and refreshing! Our twist on this cocktail is to use calamansi juice in place of fresh lime juice. Lime juice works fine, but calamansi, or calamondin, gives the drink an extra floral touch. Please let us know if you make it.
Fresh lime rinds
Ice
2 ounces dark rum
½ fresh lime, juiced or 1 fresh calamansi, juiced
1 7.5 ounce can Hibiscus Ginger Beer
Prepare lime rounds for garnish.
Add a handful of ice to a tall glass, pour in the dark rum and the lime or calamansi juice.
Top the glass off with the hibiscus ginger beer.
Stir gently.
Garnish with lime round.
Enjoy!
For a beautiful and refreshing mocktail, replace rum with more hibiscus ginger beer.
