The Baja Margarita is a real crowd-pleaser. Enjoy this refreshing drink with your friends and family. The Agua de Jamaica, made with hibiscus, gives this drink it's beautiful color. Make the Agua de Jamaica ahead to keep on hand in the refrigerator and this big batch cocktail comes together in just a couple of minutes.
Hibiscus Cocktail Dust from Hibiscus Cocktail Kit
16 oz. (2 cups) Tequila blanco
8 oz. (1 cup) Cointreau
8 oz. (1 cup) fresh lime juice
4 oz. (.5 cup) fresh orange juice
4 oz. (.5 cup) prepared Agua de Jamaica
Sprinkle Hibiscus Cocktail Dust onto a small plate. Rub the rim of a margarita glass with lime wedge and dip in Hibiscus Cocktail Dust. Repeat.
Mix together the Tequila, Cointreau, citrus juices and Agua de Jamaica and chill.
Fill a shaker 3/4 full with ice, add some of the chilled mixture, shake to throughly chill and pour into prepared glasses. Continue with the remaining Baja Margaritas.
For a beautiful mocktail, skip the Tequila and Cointreau and add a splash of sparking mineral water.
The Hibiscus Cocktail Dust is a great way to dress up glasses of lemonade. Make refreshing pink lemonade by stirring in Agua de Jamaica to taste.
